Big News!
Guess what? We are both so excited that Margie’s big news finally went public today. This morning, Publisher’s Weekly announced ICONS, Margie’s first solo project. Don’t worry, the two of us are still hard at work on the Beautiful Creatures Novels. And watch out for Kami’s own top-secret news, which is still to come…
Here’s the link to the PW article:
“Margaret Stohl, co-author of the bestselling YA series Beautiful Creatures, sold North American rights to two books in a new series called Icons to Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. Julie Scheina acquired the novels from agent Sarah Burnes at the Gernert Company, and book one is slated for spring 2013. The YA science fiction series, which is set 16 years after an alien invasion, follows a group of teenagers who become swept up in a resistance movement looking to unseat the extraterrestrials who’ve taken control of the planet.”

Dear Kami and Margaret,
I’m a Southern girl just like Lena and I absolutely love your book. I just finished reading “Beautiful Creatures”, your first book, and now that I know that there are more I can’t wait to read the others. Thank both of you SO much for writing what is now one out of two of my most favorite books. Be blessed, be keep writing, and know that I love you guys.
^_^ XOXO ~ Senyah
Hey Kami and Margaret :]
I just finished your second novel, and I loved it. I would ahve finished it a week ago, but my parents grounded me from the book, saying I needed space from it. I just got so into the book, that I hated Lena, hated JB, and hated Ridley. In one of the events, I threw the book across the room. I don’t have anger issues, you guys just know how to make the reader feel like they’re their, like they’re a character.
Thanks for that :]
