Beautiful Darkness Tour: Tattered Cover in Highland Ranch, CO
Tattered Cover was a particularly fun stop on the tour because we got to meet our online & phone friend, author Sarah Ockler, in person & catch up with Robbie of Boy with Books. It was also our last stop in Colorado, and we had to race to the airport as soon as the event ended. Tattered Cover is a huge indie bookstore filled with amazing hand-picked selections, as well as some pretty awesome candy in the their cafe!
Kaleb was filming for the documentary (see below) & we were busy hanging out with readers, bloggers & taking a few purple pics to show how we feel about bullying (Purple=NO!). It should be noted that Margie wore a purple Tattered Cover bag & Kami wore a purple Halloween headband that looked a lot like a hat. Photographic evidence has been destroyed to protect the innocent.

The Authors
Kami Garcia is a teacher and reading specialist with an MA in education, and leads book groups for children and teenagers. Margaret Stohl has an MA in English and studied creative writing under poet George MacBeth at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. They both live in Los Angeles, California, with their families. Beautiful Creatures is their debut novel.
